Today, when the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that without following due process of law, the Respondents are trying to dispossess the petitioners from the subject property.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent Municipality that alternate municipal land has been identified by the Respondent Municipality for accommodating the petitioners and only after accommodating the petitioners, the subject properties will be taken over by the Respondents for road widening purpose. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
