This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'the Code') by the petitioners/A.1 and A.2 seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.743 of 2014 of III Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam, registered against them for the offences punishable under Sections 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3(1)(X) of the Scheduled Casts and The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

2 . A joint memo of compromise is filed in Crl.P.M.P.No.10172 of 2015 seeking permission for compromise in the matter by compounding the said crime. The parties stated that they wanted to purchase peace and they have settled their disputes outside the Court.

3. Having regard to the above, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 of Cr.P.C. permission is accorded and Crl.P. M.P. No. 10172 of 2015 is ordered and the offences supra are compounded.

4. Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to FIR No.743 of 2014 of III Town Police Station, Visakhapatnam, are quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners, if any, shall stand cancelled. 5 . Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
