wp_23429_2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing the respondents to produce the detenue i.e., Md. Abdul Nasir alias Naser who is now detained in Central Prison, Warangal, before this Hon'ble Court and he may be ordered to release forthwith, declaring his detention vide Proceedings No. 06/PD/CCRB/RK/2017, dated 07-02-2017 passed by the 2nd Respondent and is confirmed by the 1st Respondent vide G.O.Rt.No. 890 dated 07-04-2017 issued by the GAD Law & Order Department as is illegal, arbitrary, contrary to law, unconstitutional and in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India besides the guidelines as contemplated in the Preventive Detention Act and to pass such other order or orders as deemed fit and proper."

At the hearing, learned counsel for both parties have submitted that as the term of the detention under the impugned order has expired, the cause in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 3.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. 4.
As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No. 28942 of 2017 shall stand dismissed as infructuous. ___________________________ C.V.NAGARJUNA REDDY, J.
