THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 24199 of 2016 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) for the respondents. The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is that though he has presented a document for registration, the 5th respondent Sub-Registrar, Panyam, Kurnool District has not received the same.
Learned Government Pleader would submit that the 5th respondent will receive the document submitted by the petitioner for registration and if he is not inclined to do so, he will pass an order under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 and communicate the same to the petitioner.
In view of the said submission, the 5th respondent is directed to receive the document presented by the petitioner and consider the same for registration. In case, the 5th respondent is not inclined to register it, he shall pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Act within four weeks from the date of submission of the document and communicate the same to the petitioner.
The Writ Petition stands disposed of with this order. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
