THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.4306 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With consent of both the counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in disposing of the petition dated 14.05.2015 filed under Estate Abolition Act and Conversion into Ryotwari Act, 1948 for grant of ryotwari patta and also change of classification in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.3.71 cents in R.S.No.510 of Gudipadu Village, H/o. Gullapudi of Musunuru Mandal, Krishna District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently, direct the respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the said petition within a reasonable time.

3. Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 14.05.2015 made by the petitioner, at the earliest.

4. Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the relief sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner provided the said representation is still pending consideration.

5. Without going into the merits of the case and having regard

to the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the representation dated 14.05.2015 made by the petitioner, in accordance with law, if the said representation is still pending consideration, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six (06) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
