HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 10502 of 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard Sri C. Raghu, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Sri Bobba Vijayalaxmi, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Sri C. Raghu, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not press this writ petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to engage a Government servant to defend him or to present case on his behalf before the enquiring authority within a period of one week from today.
Writ petition is disposed of as not pressed with liberty as prayed. At this stage, we are informed that today evidence of one of the witnesses is being recorded. The enquiring authority may proceed to record his evidence (examination in chief) and for cross examination of this witness or any other witness, the petitioner may be given a week's time. Insofar as the witness, who has already been examined and cross examined by the petitioner, is concerned, it is open to the petitioner to apply for recall of the said witness for his further cross examination, if he so desires and advised, after engaging Government servant for presenting his case.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed
of.
