HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM CONTEMPT CASE No.2228 OF 2016 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed against the respondentcontemnor alleging the wilful disobedience of the order dated 06.06.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.17507 of 2016. A counter affidavit sworn to by the 2nd respondent has been filed in this Court, paragraphs Nos. 7 and 8 on which reads as under:

"7. It is submitted that, further in pursuance of the above Hon'ble High Court Orders, notices dated 23.08.2016 and 27.09.2016 were issued to Sri Erradoddi Chinnapu Reddy, S/o Adinarayana Reddy, Nadigadda Palli village (5th respondent in W.P.No.15707 of 2016) by the Panchayat Secretary, Kummarapalli Gram Panchayat (3rd Respondent herein) to remove the said illegal constructions immediately and a legal notice dated:15.11.2016 through advocate was also issued to the above individuals to remove said illegal constructions. But, the individuals have not responded properly to the said notices. And, the individuals are causing inconvenience and law and order problem while, taking action by the Gram Panchayat to remove the said illegal construction forcibly. So that, the 3rd Respondent herein, have requested the Station House Officer, Ramapuram Mandal and Circle Inspector of Police, Lakkireddypalli vide letter dated:13.12.2016 to provide Police Bundobust, so as to take necessary action to remove the said illegal construction.

8. Finally, it is submitted that, the 3rd Respondent herein, have submitted the latest status report of the case dated:06.02.2017, stating that, the illegal construction (Bath Room) was demolished, hence the orders of the Hon'ble High Court dated:06.06.2016 in W.P.No.17507 of 2016 are complied. The evidence of Photos are enclosed for perusal."

In view of the above averments contained in the counteraffidavit, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj (Andhra Pradesh) submits that the order dated 06.06.2016 in W.P.No.17507 of 2016 has been complied with. Hence, the Contempt Case stands closed.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand closed.
