HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.21579 OF 2016 ORDER:

This petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction on the part of respondents 1 to 7 in initiating disciplinary action against the 8th respondent in terms of "Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Regulations of State Bank of Hyderabad Officers' Service Regulations" for committing gross misconduct by way of violating the Regulation Nos.56(5)(i), 56(2) & 62(4), as arbitrary and illegal and for a consequential direction to the respondents 1 to 7 to initiate disciplinary action against the respondent No.8.

Petitioner has not disclosed what is his locus standi for maintaining the writ petition and when the same is pointed out by this Court, learned counsel for the petitioner could not also answer what is the locus standi of the petitioner seeking initiation of disciplinary proceedings against the 8th respondent. In view of the above, I do not see any merits in the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
