HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No. 8674 OF 2016 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Sri G. Narender Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.1 submits that there is a remedy of appeal and revision both, under the Rules relating to certain taxes and lodging of moneys received by the Gram Panchayat and payment of money from the Gram Panchayat Fund and Section 264 of the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 respectively and in view thereof, the writ petition is not maintainable.

Having confronted with this, Sri P. Vikram, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate proceedings before the appropriate authority under the aforementioned provisions of the Rules and the Act.

Writ petition is disposed of with liberty as prayed. All contentions of the parties are kept open. It is open to the petitioner to file application for interim order, if they so desire and advised and if any such application is filed, we hope and trust that the concerned authority shall deal with the same in accordance with law.
