ORDER:

This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue any Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondent No.1 in not issuing the release and sale orders of the stock seized by the Tahsildar, Payakaraopeta on 5/6-11-2010 in spite of paying the value of confiscated stock of petrol and diesel oil on 28.05.2011 as per the order u/s.6-A (1) of the E.C. Act, 1955 on the ground that the criminal case in C.C.381/2011 u/s.7 of E.C. Act, 1955 for the same incident is pending before the Addl. J.F.C.M. Yellamanchalli, as illegal, arbitrary, capricious and violative of Article 19 & 20 of Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondents to issue release and sale orders to enable her to run the petitioner petrol bunk."

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (AP) on instructions submitted that the petitioner's Form-B licence was restored on 21.12.2012. In view of this subsequent event, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the same is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
