THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE K.SARATH WRIT PETITION No. 45686 of 2022 ORDER:

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 4. With their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself. 2.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not providing electrical service connection/meter to the petitioner in respect of petitioners' land bearing plot No.124(Southern side), forming part of Survey No.1007, admeasuring 274.0 Square Yards, equivalent to 299.06 Sq.Meters(out of 574.0 Square Yards), situated at Bhagyanagar Co-Operative Housing Society Ltd., Kukatpally village, under GHMC Kukatpally Circle, Kukatpally Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner has stated that though the petitioner has submitted an application to the respondents along with the necessary documents for

providing election connection to the subject land, the respondents are refusing to receive the same. The learned Counsel has also stated that in similar cases, this Court has passed the orders in WP No.18561 of 2020 dated 20.10.2020 and WP No.37560 of 2022 dated 03.11.2022. 4.

Sri R.Vinod Reddy, learned Standing Counsel, on instructions, submits that if the petitioner files an application afresh, the same would be processed and necessary orders would be passed and the same would be intimated to the petitioner.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to file an application afresh for providing electricity service connection to the subject property, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such application being filed, the respondents shall receive and process the same and pass necessary orders thereon in accordance with the prescribed procedure and

communicate the same to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.
