HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition Nos.14198, 14238, 14263, 14280 and 14290 of 2017 Common Order:

All these Writ Petitions are being disposed of by this common order, as they relate to the relief of seeking stay pending disposal of the revisions before the first respondent.

The case of the petitioners is that the proceedings were taken against them before the third respondent under the Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Areas Land Transfer Regulation, 1959 (Regulation No.1 of 1959) and an order of eviction was passed against them. Against the orders of eviction passed by the third respondent, they preferred appeals to the second respondent, who dismissed the same confirming the orders of the third respondent. Against the orders of the second respondent, they preferred revisions to the first respondent along with applications for stay on 20.03.2017, but the said applications were not taken up and no orders were passed and there is a threat of eviction.

In the circumstances, all these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the fourth respondent not to take further steps for execution of the orders passed by the third respondent, as confirmed by the second respondent, pending disposal of the revisions before the first respondent. Since the matters are arising out of the Scheduled Areas Land Transfer Regulation, the first respondent shall dispose of the revisions as expeditiously as possible, but not later than six (6) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after following due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in these Writ Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
