Aggrieved by the inaction of the respondent - Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs, represented by its Regional Passport Officer, Secunderabad, in considering the online application of the petitioner No.HY1071095648718 dated 11.04.2018 for correction of his date of birth, the present writ petition is filed. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Sri Namavarapu R.Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent, on written instructions, would submit that the petitioner has not submitted the supporting documents and if the petitioner makes fresh application, necessary action will be taken in accordance with law. In view of the same, writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make fresh application with supporting documents and on receipt of such application, respondent is directed to consider the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law. Interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
