HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NOs.18074 & 18200 OF 2016 COMMON ORDER:

When these matters are taken up for hearing, counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents have informed the Court that the issue raised in these writ petitions is squarely covered by the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.18334 of 2002, dated 19.09.2018, and appropriate orders be passed in these writ petitions modifying the punishment of 'deferment of annual grade increments for a period of two years which will have effect on future increments', to that of 'deferment of annual grade increments for a period of two years without cumulative effect and without arrears'.

This Court, having considered the above submissions of learned counsel for the parties, is of the considered view that these writ petitions can be disposed of by modifying the punishment of 'deferment of annual grade increments for a period of two years which will have effect on future increments' to that of 'deferment of annual grade increments for a period of two years without cumulative effect and without arrears.' Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ______________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 25th September, 2019 v v
