THE HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.15716 OF 2013 ORDER:

It is the submission of the petitioner herein and A.1 in S.C. No.20 of 2013 on the file of I Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge for Electricity Cases, Prakasam District, Ongole, that he is entitled to the concession under Section 135(1)(a)(b) of the Electricity Act, 2003 and he approached the Department authorities expressing his willingness to compound and they are also expressed their willingness to compound, however, the representation is pending before the departmental authorities for consideration.

Having regard to the above, the criminal petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner on their consideration and collection of the proper compounding fee, to approach the learned Special Judge concerned for compounding the offence by virtue of this direction. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
