THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.11182 of 2016 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue writ of Mandamus or any other writ directing the Respondents herein to register F.I.R. based upon the complaint/information given by the petitioner herein on 16.03.2016 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case." The petitioner's complaint dated 16.03.2016 alleging illicit sale of liquor is yet to be acted upon by the excise authorities. The writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to take appropriate action on the complaint dated 16.03.2016 made by the petitioner. The excise authorities shall give due opportunity of hearing to all persons affected by any action proposed to be taken on the basis of the said complaint. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event not later than three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
