THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL REVISION CASE NO.2120 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Court passed an order in Crl.R.C.M.P.No.3603 of 2017 on 07.08.2017 at 02:30 P.M, directing to pay 15% of the cheque amount to be deposited as a condition for compounding with the High Court Legal Services Committee by following guideline no.3 of the judgment in Damodar S Prabhu Vs. Sayed Baba Lal H1 and directed.

Learned counsel for the appellant/accused represented that the appellant/accused is in judicial custody and daughter of the appellant/accused appeared in person.

The second respondent/complainant is also present and they are identified by their respective counsel. When terms of compromise are explained in vernacular language, they are admitted to be true and correct. The second respondent/complainant specifically stated that he received the entire cheque amount and agreed for compromise and it is reduced into writing.

Further, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court at 02:30 P.M today, learned counsel for the appellant/accused produced receipt No.879 confirming payment of Rs.12,800/- by way of Demand Draft bearing No.887309 dated 07.08.2017 to the High Court Legal Services Committee.

MSM,J CRLRC.No.2120 of 2017 Hence, I find that the compromise is voluntary and permission is granted to compound the offence, in view of payment of requisite amount.

Appellant/accused is set at liberty forthwith, in case, he is not required in any other case, without furnishing any security. In the result, criminal revision case is disposed of. Consequently, miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand dismissed. No costs.
