In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 2 to 7 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 368 of 2010 on the file of the Court of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad, registered for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 04-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Saroor Nagar, Rachakonda, and submitted that the case was compromised before Lok Adalat on 26-09-2013 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 368 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
