HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 5174 of 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed complaining inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the representations dated 9.3.2015, 01.06.2015 and 17.7.2015 stated to have been submitted by the petitioners seeking to provide drinking water tap connections to their houses situated in Ammanabrolue Gram panchayat, Nagulappalapadu Mandal, Prakasam District. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that as of today there is no secretary functioning to the third respondent-Grampanchayat and that a regular secretary is likely to be appointed in one week time and he would consider and dispose of the representations of the

petitioners within three weeks from the date of taking charge. Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel on behalf of the third respondent and considering the fact that the interim relief and main relief are one and the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioners for providing drinking water tap connections to their houses subject to feasibility.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in the Writ Petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
