Order:

Heard Smt. K.V. Rajasree, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri M.S.R. Chandra Murthy, learned Special Counsel for the 4th respondent-DWMA.

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Field Assistant on 07-92009 in Gogannamatam village in Mamidikuduru Mandal of East Godavari district. He worked in that post for a period of 5 years. He was issued a show cause notice basing on the social audit report dated 28-11-2014 making 3 imputations/charges. Out of the 3 charges, 2 charges were dropped and in respect of one charge, an enquiry was held against the petitioner and thereafter, he was removed from service.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the charge is trivial for which the petitioner submitted proper explanation and removing him from service is illegal.

4. In any event, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the 2nd respondent-District Collector, which is now pending. Therefore, without going into merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector, East Godavari at Kakinada to dispose of the appeal within a period of 8 (eight) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
