This writ petition was filed assailing the action of the Punjab & Sind Bank in not absorbing the petitioner in a regular vacancy stated to be available in the Secunderabad branch at M.G.Road, Secunderabad and seeking a consequential direction to absorb the petitioner in the said existing vacancy.
2. In the counter, the respondent/Bank stated that as per its policy it was considering absorption/regularisation of the services of the sub-staff/peons working in the Bank as per requirement and that the petitioner had unnecessarily approached this Court.
3. In the light of the stand put forth by the bank, it is clear that the petitioner has to wait for his turn for regularisation of his services and absorption in a regular vacancy.
4. The writ petition is accordingly closed taking on record the stand of the bank that the case of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with norms in due course of time. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
