This writ petition is filed assailing the proceedings dated 30.07.2015 passed by the Depot Manager, Telangana State Road

Transport Corporation (TSRTC), Nirmal Depot, Adilabad District, suspending the petitioner from service pending an enquiry into the charge of misconduct leveled against him.

It appears that the charge sheet was issued to the petitioner on 30.07.2015 and by a separate order bearing the same date, the Depot Manager, TSRTC, Nirmal Depot, placed him under suspension pending enquiry.

This Court finds no reason to interfere in the matter at this stage as the employer is empowered by law to place an employee under suspension pending an enquiry into the charge leveled against him. Sri G. Ravi Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioner, fairly requested that the authorities of the TSRTC may be directed to complete the enquiry expeditiously by following the due procedure. Sri A. Ravi Babu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the TSRTC, is agreeable to this course of action. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondents to complete the disciplinary proceedings against the petitioner expeditiously and in accordance with the due procedure laid down by the relevant regulations.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR 17th August, 2015 IBL
