HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.40251 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not paying the gratuity amount and other amounts along with interest to the petitioner, as illegal, arbitrary, void against to principles of natural justice and contrary to law and consequently direct the respondents to pay the gratuity amounts and other amounts along with interest.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Standing counsel produced a letter dated 28.12.2015 informing the Law Officer-II, A.P.S.R.T.C., that the gratuity payable to the petitioner would be arranged by 15.02.2016 by obtaining due sanction as required.

Having regard to the same, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the petitioner shall be paid gratuity amount as undertaken by the respondents and petitioner is also entitled to interest for the delay in payment of gratuity. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
