V.Dananjay v. State Of Andhra Pradesh,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR W.P.No.8087 of 2014 ORDER:
Heard.
The grievance of the petitioner is that he and his family members are being summoned to the police station by the 4th respondent and that they are being threatened by the police authorities compelling them to sign documents in the police station.
Learned Government Pleader has received instructions, which state that the 5th respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner, has filed a complaint against the petitioner on 02-02-2015 alleging that after their marriage on 16-03-2014, the petitioner and her in laws have mentally and physically harassed her. Based on that, an entry was made in the Receiption Register, dated 02-02-2015. Thereafter, the 4th respondent has called the petitioner and his family members for the purpose of counselling. However, on 13-02-2015, the complaint was withdrawn as settled before elders. Hence, the 4th respondent has not pursued the case any further. The allegations of the petitioner are totally denied. Thus, in view of withdrawal of the complaint, nothing further remains pending with the 4th respondent. Hence, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. _______________________ VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR, J Date: 09-04-2015
