This writ petition is filed to declare the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Proceedings No.A/48/2010, dated 22-02-2010 removing the petitioner as Anganwadi worker of Erya Thanda H/o.Edulapusalapalli, Warangal District as illegal and arbitrary.

This Court granted interim order on 30-03-2010 to the effect that the petitioner is entitled to continue in service, as per the tenure mentioned in the contract of appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner produced a copy of the judgment in Sessions Case No.336 of 2010 on the file of VI Additional Sessions Judge (III FTC) Warangal at Mahabubabad showing that the petitioner was acquitted on 13-05-2011 from the charges in the said sessions case.

In view of the same, since removal of the petitioner is basing on the allegations in the said criminal case, the impugned order dated 22-02-2010 is set aside. However,

this will not preclude the authorities from taking appropriate action, if any, in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
