Learned counsel for the appellant says that he has already circulated a letter dated 20-01-2016 to the Registry seeking permission to withdraw the appeal. Permission is accorded.

Accordingly, the Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. Interim stay granted earlier on 08-04-2010 shall stand vacated.

As a sequel to the disposal of this appeal, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
