THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.33899 of 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner company is that the revenue authorities are treating the land admeasuring Acs.16.15 guntas in Survey Nos.20 and 22 of Jalpally Village, Balapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, as assigned land covered by the provisions of Telangana Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977.

It appears that the Director of the petitioner company, who is the deponent to the writ affidavit, already submitted representation dated 04.10.2017 to the Collector and District Magistrate, Ranga Reddy District, ventilating this very grievance. No action seems to have been taken upon the said representation till date.

As it is for the revenue authorities to first examine the representation made by the petitioner company through its Director in the first instance, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Collector, Ranga Reddy District, the second respondent herein, to consider the representation dated 04.10.2017 on its own merits and in accordance with law and take appropriate action thereon under communication to the petitioner company. The petitioner company shall be given an opportunity of hearing by the Collector before a decision is taken in the matter. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
