ORAL ORDER:
According to petitioner, her husband was working as Scavenger in respondent Gram Panchayat. The claim of the petitioner to grant compassionate appointment to her son and payment of arrears of salary and allowances accrued to the account of her late husband are not granted, hence this writ petition.

As husband of the petitioner was employee of Gram Panchayat of the State of Andhra Pradesh, petitioner has to avail the remedy provided before Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, constituted under Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. 3.
As held by the Supreme Court in L CHANDRAKUMAR Vs UNION OF INDIA1, the Administrative Tribunal is Court of first instance. 4.
In view of availability of alternative and efficacious remedy, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out remedies provided under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. No costs.
