ORDER

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/accused seeking to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.117 of 2016 of Madhapur Police Station (Guttala Begumpet), Cyberabad District, registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC, against her.

2. It is alleged in the complaint that the de facto complainant along with his friends was staying at H.No.1-49/2, Guttala Begumpet, Madhapur, and on 29.02.2016, all of them went to their regular catering duties except his friend, by name, Shiva Naik and at 17.40 hours, they found that said Shiva Naik committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope. Later, they found a self-written suicide letter of the deceased, wherein it is mentioned that the deceased gave an amount of Rs.50,000/-to the accused and when he asked to return the same, the accused mentally harassed and abused him. Based on the complaint, the aforesaid crime was registered against the petitioner/accused.

A perusal of the complaint would show that the name of the petitioner/accused is not mentioned and so also there are no specific allegations against her, but truth or otherwise of the allegations can be ascertained by the investigating agency during the course of investigation. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. In view of the same and the petitioner/accused being a lady, the police concerned are directed to complete the investigation without arresting the petitioner/accused and file a final report, if any, in accordance with

law. The petitioner/accused is directed to appear before the investigating agency as and when required and cooperate with the investigating agency.

4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
