HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Contempt Case No.490 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.22410 of 2016 dated 14.07.2016, wherein this Court directed the 1st respondent to consider the case of the petitioners in terms of the recommendations made by the 2nd respondent in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and take action accordingly.

Now, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue produced G.O.Ms.No.163, dated 10.07.2017 stating that the report submitted by the District Collector is not in accordance with the Rule 5 (c ) of the Telangana Freedom Fighters Pensions Rules, as such, the District Collector, Karimnagar, was requested to re-examine the matter and send necessary proposals, keeping in view of the provisions of the Telangana Freedom Fighters Pension Rules, 1979.

In view of the same, I do not see any violation of the orders passed by this Court and accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. However, since learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are old aged and one of the petitioners passed away, and also the District Collector, Karimnagar, was requested to reexamine the matter, I hope that the District Collector would re-examine the matter and submit

necessary proposals, keeping in view of the Telangana Freedom Fighters Pension Rules, 1979, as expeditiously as possible. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
