Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.

The claim of the petitioners is that they have been working as Field Assistant since the year 2007 under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) in G.Sigadam Mandal of Srikakulam District. It appears that the contract of the petitioners was not renewed in the year 2015 on the ground that they did not achieve the labour budget target of 75% in the said Gram Panchayat. As per the common order, dated 31-12-2015, of this Court in WP.No.27468 of 2015 and Batch, the Three Officers Committee was appointed and said committee recommended the names of petitioners basing on their explanations.

After considering the recommendations of the three men committee, the 4th respondent issued proceedings dated 01-05-2017 and 08-05-2017 thereby reinstatement of petitioners respectively and directed the 5th respondent to admit them into their service for the aforesaid posts and submit the joining report to him. But the 5th respondent

was not allowed the petitioners to join in their service. The petitioners do not have any other source of income to eke out their livelihood. Aggrieved by the action of the 5th respondent, the present writ petition is filed. These contentions of learned counsel for the petitioners are not disputed by learned Standing Counsel for MGNREGS and, on instructions, he submits that the said orders are in force and required to be complied with. Having regard to the said submissions, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Programme Officer, MGNREGS, G.Sigadam Mandal of Srikakulam District to enforce the orders of the 4th respondent, dated 01-05-2017 and 08-05-2017 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
