This petition is filed, by the petitioners, seeking for quash of the proceedings against them in C.C.No.230 of 2010 on the file of the IV Additional Munsif Magistrate at Chittoor.

The offences alleged are under Sections 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

The Public Prosecutor files a Memo stating that the impugned CC was transferred and renumbered as C.C.No.692 of 2013 on the file of the District & Sessions Judge, Chittoor District and that the said case ended in acquittal vide judgment dated 06.04.2015 against all the accused i.e., A1 to A4. 3.

Hence, considering the above, this court opines that no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. 4.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
