THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.40695 OF 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to conduct investigation in Crime No.64 of 2015 of Mutharam (M) Police Station, Peddapalli District, Telangana State against respondent Nos.3 to 5 and file charge sheet.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

Grievance of the petitioner is that he lodged a private complaint against respondent Nos.3 to 5 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate at Manthani and the same was referred to the police for investigation; that respondent No.2 registered the aforementioned crime against respondent Nos.3 to 5 for the offences under Sections 167, 420, 427, 466 and 468 read with 34 I.P.C., but he is not taking any steps to investigate into the matter and file charge sheet.

Considering the grievance of the petitioner, respondent No.2 herein is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.64 of 2015 of Mutharam (M) Police Station, Peddapalli District as expeditiously as possible and file a final report, if any, in either way in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) months from today.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
