THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL PETITION No.468 OF 2014 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings against them in D.V.C.No.16 of 2012 on the file of the I Additional Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Khammam, Khammam District. On 27.1.2014, the above Criminal Petition was dismissed as withdrawn insofar as petitioner No.1 is concerned. Insofar as the other petitioners No.2 to 6 are concerned, this Court while ordering notice to the 2nd respondent in the above Criminal Petition, dispensed with the presence of the petitioners 2 to 6 in the above D.V.C., except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the Court, vide order dated 27.1.2014. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the nature of the proceedings, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought by petitioners 2 to 6.

However, the earlier order of this Court dated 27.1.2014 shall continue till disposal of the above D.V.C. The petitioners 2 to 6 shall be represented before the Court below through their Counsel on all hearing dates. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
