THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.5143 of 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to quash the proceedings against the petitioner-accused No.1 in C.C. No.823 of 2011 on the file of the Court of XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor.

At the time of hearing, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner is to direct the trial court to dispose of C.C. No.823 of 2011 as early as possible. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case. 4.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, is hereby directed to dispose of C.C. No.823 of 2011, in so far as the petitioner-accused No.1 is concerned, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
