The grievance of the petitioners was that the Station House Officer, Kalapathar Police Station, Hyderabad, did not provide police protection to them despite the order of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad.

The Inspector of Police, Kalapathar Police Station, Hyderabad, furnished written instructions to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon the directions of the superior officer, the Station House Officer, Kalapathar Police Station, posted a police picket in the petitioners' locality and directed the patrolling parties to move in the said locality. Further, four police constables and one Sub-Inspector of Police were instructed to protect the petitioners. He therefore stated that the direction of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, South Zone, Hyderabad, had been duly implemented.

In that view of the matter, the cause for complaint does not survive for consideration in this writ petition.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
