THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.34034 OF 2018 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 25.09.2018, furnished by the Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Sangareddy, Medak District, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader. The said instructions, to the extent of their relevance to the present Writ Petition, read as under: "It is submitted that the contention of the petitioners that the respondent No.2 Station House Officer, Women Police Station, Sangareddy, Medak District interfered with the life liberty of the petitioners by detaining them in the police station and threatened to settle the family dispute with the 3rd respondent Akali Prasanthi is incorrect, baseless, far from truth and has been created for the purpose of filing the present Writ Petition.

It is submitted that as per the station records, as of now, no criminal cases are pending against the petitioners and respondent No 3 on the file of 2nd respondent Police Station.

It is submitted that the 2nd respondent did not interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner by calling or detaining them in the police station as alleged by them. It is incorrect to say that on 12.09.2018 the 2nd respondent detained the petitioners in the Police Station at the instance of the 3 respondent, hence denied.

It is submitted that the 2nd respondent did not threaten the petitioners to settle the dispute with the respondent No.3 and never summoned them to the police station through subordinate as alleged by them".

By placing on record the above written instructions, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________ A.V.SESHA SAI, J 23rd October, 2018 Tsy
