This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/A.1, for grant of bail in Crime No.125 of 2018 of Saroornagar Women Police Station, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 506 and 406 of I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/A.1 and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3.

The petitioner intends to compromise with the de facto complainant-victim. In such an event, he is at liberty to do so in accordance with law. The petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.

In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
