THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.3168 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ranga Reddy District (East), Uppal, Hyderabad, failed to consider his representation dated 14.01.2016, whereby he sought transfer of ownership of the vehicle bearing registration No.AP 27 W 5690 in his name.

Learned Government Pleader for Transport states that the petitioner would be required to pay the necessary fee in this regard. As the representation dated 14.01.2016 made by the petitioner bears the stamp affixed by the office of the Regional Transport Authority, Ranga Reddy East (Uppal) in proof of receipt, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Ranga Reddy District (East), to act upon the said representation and take appropriate action in the matter in accordance with law. The petitioner shall be called upon to make the requisite payment of fee in accordance with law and thereafter suitable action shall be taken upon the representation. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs.
