This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the fourth respondent in not taking investigation pursuant to the registration of crime No.20 of 2017 on the file of the fourth respondent. Now a counter affidavit is filed by the fourth respondent stating that after registration of the crime, L.Ws.3 to 5 were examined and their statements were recorded. The efforts of the police to examine the witness, S.Gangandhar@Nadipinna went in vain as he is avoiding to depose. Some more witnesses have to be examined and evidence has to be collected.
In view of the above statement, this writ petition is disposed of directing the fourth respondent to complete the investigation and file final report/charge sheet as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
