THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.1138 OF 2015 ORDER:

The present criminal revision case is filed by the petitioner challenging the order, dated 14.05.2015, passed in Criminal Appeal No.33 of 2015 by the Hon'ble Sessions Judge at Nizamabad, in modifying the Judgment passed by the Joint Collector, Nizamabad in file No.CS6/32/2015, dated 03.03.2015 imposing penalty of Rs.25,000/- as against the petitioner.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the appellate Court has reduced the penalty as imposed by the Joint Collector, the same is also on higher side and as such, prays this Court to reduce the penalty modified by the appellate Court. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the penalty imposed on the owner of the lorry bearing No.AP 15 TA 2786 is reduced to Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only).

With the above observation, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of. Consequently, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this revision, if any, shall stand closed.
