HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 34036 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 2 to 4 in mutating the name of the sixth respondent in the place of the petitioner in respect of land admeasuring Ac.2.00 gts., in Sy.No.199/ 2A of Panagal Village, Srikalahasti Mandal, Chittoor District, as illegal, arbitrary and without jurisdiction. 2) Though various grounds are raised in the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by him against the mutation orders.

3) The Government Pleader for Revenue (AP) would submit that a direction may be issued to the concerned for an early disposal of the appeal.

4) Without going into the merits of the case and in view of the claim made by the petitioner that he is in possession of the property even as on today, status quo as on today shall be maintained for a period of six weeks from today. Meanwhile, the authorities concerned shall pass orders in the stay application filed along with the appeal by the petitioner against the order of mutation.

5) With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 12.10.2018 gkv
