HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO. 1277 OF 2017 ORDER:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srikakulam, in directing seizure of the theatre. This Court by order dated 6.1.2017, permitted the petitioner to run the theatre till 30.1.2017, while directing the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 10.12.2016 submitted by the petitioner.

Now, counter affidavit is filed by the third respondent stating that the final order was passed on 25.1.2017, rejecting the request of the petitioner. It is also stated that the petitioner has not applied for the renewal of the licence.

In view of the subsequent developments, no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. But however, it is open to the petitioner to take appropriate legal proceedings in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
