THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.7828 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:

"to issue writ of Mandamus - i) declaring action of the respondents in not providing employment to the petitioner on compassionate grounds in any of the cadre of Junior Assistant, Conductor, Shramik etc., in pursuance of the Circular No.PD19/2015, dated 03.06.2015 as illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, unjust, non application of mind, contrary to the `doctrine of legitimate expectation', contrary to the Circular dated 03.06.2015 of the 1st respondent besides violative of the Arts.14, 16 & 21 of the Constitution of India; and ii) consequently, direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds in any of the cadre of Junior Assistant, Conductor, Shramik etc., by giving effect to the Circular dated 03.06.2015 of the 1st respondent on priority basis."

Heard Sri Peeta Raman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri A. Rama Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondents. When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner herein submitted a representation on 2411-2015 to the respondents herein and no orders have been passed on the said representation so far. A request is made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to direct the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 24-11-2015, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe. The said request is not opposed by the learned Standing Counsel for respondents.

For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner, directing the respondents to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 24-11-2015 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
