THE HONOURABLE DR. JUSTICE D. NAGARJUN WRIT PETITION NO.10069 OF 2018 ORDER:- This petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking quashment of charge sheet in STC No.35 of 2018 pending on the file of XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Rajendra Nagar, against the petitioner/accused.

Heard Sri J.P.Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4.

As seen from the record, charge sheet in STC No.35 of 2018 is pending against the petitioner/accused for the offence under Section 279 of IPC, wherein it is stated that the petitioner had driven the car in a rash and negligent manner.

During the course of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor has brought to the notice of this court that the matter is of the year 2018 and hence, directions may be given to the trial court to settle the matter before Lok Adalat.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is an IT employee and he has to attend his office.

Considering the circumstances, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to dispose of the matter as expeditiously as possible and in the meantime, the presence of the petitioner before the trial court is dispensed with. Further, the petitioner shall appear before the trial court as and when directed by the trial court for answering the charges and for any such requirement.
Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
