HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 34117 of 2018 ORDER:

1) Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue. With the consent of both the parties, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing respondent No.2 - Revenue Divisional Officer, to dispose of the appeal in File No.SCVJ-LANDOLE A/2'/2017-JA (A10) - SCO - VJA, preferred against the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Kankipadu, dated 23.02.2017 and pass such other order or orders as this Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

3) Though various grounds are raised, learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to dispose of the appeal filed against the proceedings of Tahsildar - respondent No.3, at the earliest. 4) Learned Government Pleader for revenue would submit that the respondents would consider and dispose of the appeal, within a period of two months, in accordance with law.

5) Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 to dispose of appeal in File No. No.SCVJ-LANDOLEA/21/2017-JA (A10) - SCO - VJA, preferred against the proceedings of the Tahsildar, Kankipadu, dated 23.02.2017, in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, after hearing all the concerned. If any stay application is filed along with the appeal, the authorities concerned shall deal with the same forthwith, in accordance with law.
