ORDER

Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent-Corporation.

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2015, as arbitrary and illegal.

The petitioner was appointed as Driver, on contract basis, in the respondent-Corporation, on 23.05.2007 and his services were regularized on 19.10.2010. He is native of Revally Village, Gopalpet Mandal, Mahabubnagar District.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that father of the petitioner is suffering from paralysis stroke and bedridden and his mother is suffering from back pain with heart ailment and that he has to look after his parents and his presence is necessary in his native place. He further submits that native place of the petitioner is about 150 KMs away from Hyderabad and it is becoming highly difficult for him to reach his native place. Hence, he submitted a representation dated 25.08.2015 to transfer him from Hyderabad Region to Mahabubnagar Region on

condition of loss of seniority.

Since the petitioner has shown genuine and sufficient cause for his transfer and undertakes to forego his seniority in Hyderabad Region, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation dated 25.08.2015 submitted by the petitioner whereunder he sought transfer to Mahabubnagar Region and pass appropriate thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner wishes to submit a fresh representation, he is permitted to do so. No costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
