THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35746 OF 2016 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.10.2016 as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner. Heard and perused the material.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner died in a road accident while he was working in Air Force Service. Pursuant to the same, the pension amount was released to the petitioner upto September, 2016 and later, the amount has not been depositing to the account of the petitioner. She made a representation to the respondent, dated 14.10.2016, for release of the pension amount. Hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and release the pension amount. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 14.10.2016 as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
