Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the writ petition, since an assurance is given for settlement of the retirement benefits to which petitioner is entitled. However, learned counsel seeks leave of the Court to avail the remedy as available in law, in the event the retirement benefits are not settled by the respondents.

Granting the leave as sought for, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
