HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39159 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to proceed with the investigation in Crime No.868 of 2015 by arresting the 3rd respondent and other accused and file a final report. 2.
Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.
It is stated that basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the 1st respondent registered the above crime for the offence under Sections 447, 427 and 506 IPC and that during the course of investigation, it was found that the 3rd respondent is the main accused in the above crime. But the 1st respondent is not conducting further investigation against the 3rd respondent.

Considering the circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:
"Respondent No.1 is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.868 of 2015 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
